COVER REVEAL! At Doujin Con this weekend, I will be releasing not one, but TWO short printed comics – my first ever self-published books <3

(no) change for you – print edition, by Andrew Attwell
The first is a print edition of (no) change for you, the series of political strips written for the annual WIP Comics anthology (website, instagram) , and later posted to Instagram during last year’s general election as part of the #ComicsforMPs initiative (instagram link). 24 square pages of political satire, including around 10 pages of sketches and illustrations to supplement the original comic. And that cover! I’m so proud of that cover.

Comic Matters – a collection of 3 short comics by Andrew Attwell & Matthew Robinson
The second book is a collection of 3 short comics I’ve done over the years, with and without my partner in comics crime, Matthew Robinson. All three stories placed in the top 10 at the annual Manga Jiman competition (one of them even won me a fancy Japanese air purifier). 28 pages of humorous and often surreal comics. Very fitting that this one is coming out at Doujin Con, as the Manga Jiman team will be running a stand at the event to announce the theme of this year’s competition.
I’m so proud to have finally put these out. I’ve submitted comics for several anthologies over the last few years, but these are the first books I’ve ever put together myself. It feels fantastic and has me giddy to resume the comic I’m working on now, just so I can have the thrill of printing that one too.
Come on down to Doujin Con this weekend to pick up your copy!
