This weekend I’ll be exhibiting at Doujin Con, London’s FIRST EVER doujinshi convention (doujinshi being Japan’s unique flavour of small-press comics). There’ll be lots of wonderful indie comic books, there’ll be prints, there’ll be talks and live drawings, and most crucially there will be doujinshi artists who FLEW OVER FROM JAPAN just to exhibit at this event with us.

This will also be my first time ever running my own table at a comic convention, which I’ll be sharing with the brilliant Matthew Robinson. I’ll be debuting not one… not two… but FOUR books that I was involved with this Saturday. Wowzers! Very exciting indeed. More details on books tomorrow.

Books…

And more books…

Lots of my comics friends are also going to have tables there, including but not limited to Dan Byron (instagram) and Tommy Tomlin (instagram) over on the Manga Originals table (instagram, website), OWA from Japan (instagram, Pixiv), who has has written a brand new comic specially for this event, and of course the one and only Sketcho (instagram) will be running the debut session of Sketcho on Tour all weekend long. Make sure you check out all their tables and say hello.

Come on down to Hammersmith to join in the fun, and help us make this utterly unique event a great success (so that we can have another one next year!)

If you drop by on the Sunday, you may even catch me talking on stage…
